Going to my first Tech Event!

In November, I was granted the fantastic opportunity to attend the Mongodb.local event in East London! It was an enriching experience visiting different booths that showcased the vast applications of Mongo in Data Science and Cloud Computing and I am grateful that I got to connect with intelligent people in the tech industry and hear about their career stories.

Throughout the event, I had the privilege of learning from renowned MongoDB experts who shared their expertise and real-world experiences. These sessions delved into various aspects of MongoDB, including database design, performance optimization, and scaling strategies. The interactive nature of the event allowed me to ask questions, gain practical insights, and refine my skills in utilizing MongoDB to build robust and scalable applications.

Listening to the explorative talks by many talented individuals on the advances of Mongo, there were many aspects of the technology that inspired me but in particular, the possible implementations of Query-able Encryption for more secure and private cloud databases are exciting to imagine. I hope to develop my own experience with Mongo and to understand its true potential.
